دوسری عبادت جو اللہ تعالی نے ہم پر فرض کی ہے روزہ ہے روزے سے مراد یہ ہے کہ صبح سے شام تک ادمی کھانے پینے اور مباشرت سے پرہیز کرے ۔نماز کی طرح یہ عبادت بھی ابتدا سے تمام پیغمبروں کی شریعت میں فرض رہی ہے ۔پچھلی جتنی امتیں گزری ہیں سب اسی طرح روزے رکھتی تھی جس طرح امت محمدی رکھتی ہے البتہ روزے کے احکام اور روزوں کی تعداد اور روزے رکھنے کے زمانے میں شریعتوں کے درمیان فرق رہا ہے ۔اج بھی ہم دیکھتے ہیں کہ اکثر مذاہب میں روزہ کسی نہ کسی شکل میں ضرور موجود ہے ۔اگرچہ لوگوں نے اپنی طرف سے بہت سی باتیں ملا کر اس کی شکل بگاڑ دی ہے ۔

 

قرآن مجید میں ارشاد ہوا ہے کہ

 

اے اہل ایمان !تم پر روزہ اسی طرح فرض کیا گیا ہے جس طرح تم سے پہلی امتوں پر فرض کیا گیا تھا ۔

 

اس آیت سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالی کی طرف سے جتنی شریعتں ائی ہے وہ کبھی روزے کی عبادت سے خالی نہیں رہی ہیں ۔

روزہ کیوں فرض کیا گیا ؟

 

غور کیجئے کہ آخر روزے میں کیا بات ہے جس کی وجہ سے اللہ تعالی نے اس عبادت کو ہر زمانے میں فرض کیا ہے ؟

 

مقصد زندگی .............بند گئ رب

 

اس سے پہلے کئ مرتبہ آپ سے بیان کر چکے ہیں کہ اسلام کا اصل مقصد انسان کی پوری زندگی کو اللہ تعالی کی عبادت بنا دینا ہے ۔ انسان عبد یعنی بندہ پیدا ہوا ہے اور عبدیت یعنی بندگی اس کی عین فطرت ہے ۔ اس لیے عبادت یعنی خیال وسلم میں اللہ کی بندگی کرنے سے کبھی ایک لمحے کی لیے بھی اس کو آزاد نہ ہونا چاہیے۔اسے اپنی زندگی کے ہر معاملے میں ہمیشہ اور ہر وقت یہ دیکھنا چاہیے کہ اللہ تعالی کی رضا و خوشنودی کس چیز میں ہے اور اس کا غضب اور ناراضی کس چیز میں ۔ پھر جس طرف اللہ کی رضا ہو ادھر جانا چاہیے اور جسطرح اس کا غضب اور اس کی ناراضی ہو اس سے یوں بچنا چاہیے جیسے آگ کے انگارے سے کوئی بچتا ہے ۔ جو طریقہ اللہ نے پسند کیا ہو اس پر چلنا چاہیے اور جس طریقے کو اس نے نا پسند کیا ہو اس سے بھاگنا چاہیے ۔جب انسان کی ساری زندگی اس رنگ میں رنگ جائے تب سمجھو کہ اس نے اپنے مالک کی بندگی کا حق ادا کیا اور و ما خلقت الجن  والا نس الا لیعبدون کا منشا پورا ہو گیا ۔

 

عبادت ..............بندگی کی تربیت

 

نماز، روزے،حج اور زکوہ کے نام سے جو عبادتیں ہم پر فرض کی گئی ہیں ان کا اصل مقصد اسی بڑی عبادت کے لیے ہم کو تیار کرنا ہے۔ ان کو فرض کرنے کا یہ مطلب نہیں ہے کہ اگر تم نے دن میں پانچ وقت رکوع اور سجدہ کر لیا ، اور رمضان میں تیس دن تک صبح سے شام تک بھوک پیاس برداشت کر لی اور مال دار ہونے کی صورت میں سالانہ زکوہ اور عمر میں ایک مرتبہ حج ادا کر دیا، تو اللہ کا جو کچھ حق تم پر تھا وہ ادا ہو گیا اور اس کے بعد تم اس کی بندگی سے آزاد ہو گئے کہ جو چاہو کرتے پھرو ، بلکہ دراصل ان عبادتوں کو فرض کرنے کی غرض یہی ہے کہ ان کے ذریعے سے آدمی کی تربیت کی جائے اور اس کو اس قابل بنا دیا جائے کہ اس کی پوری زندگی اللہ کی عبادت بن جائے۔

 

آیئے اب اسی مقصد کو سامنے رکھ کر ہم دیکھیں کہ روزہ کس طرح آدمی کو اس بڑی عبادت کے لئے تیار کرتا ہے ۔
